Welcome to Steeple Langford Cricket Club
We are a Clubmark Accredited and ECB Focus Club and have two teams currently playing in the Hampshire League, one Twenty/20 team in the Old Sarum Invitation midweek League as well as a friendly XI who play on Sundays.
The Colts section train on Wednesday evenings, and caters for players ranging from 5-15 years. The U11, 13 and 15 teams play in the Salisbury and District Junior League.
We are participants in the ECB Chance to Shine scheme bringing cricket back into state schools and through the Salisbury and District cricket development forum will help to deliver this into our local schools.
We always welcome new members to the club of all abilities so if you're looking for a club we'd love to have you on board.
We have a very friendly atmosphere around the club and we'd be more than happy to have you on board - young or old!
Dates For Your Diary
Pre season nets at Chaffyn Grove School 25th March,1st and 8th April.
First friendly games Sat 14th and 15th April.
Hampshire league starts Sat 5th May.
Sat 2nd June - 2nd XI home fixture to Bramshall 3rd XI will be played at Bramshall. Ground being used for the village Jubilee celebrations.
Sun 15th July - Club fun day start 12:00 details to follow.
Tues 14th Aug - Tues League KO cup final at Steeple Langford start 5:45.
Sat 18th Aug - 1st XI home fixture to Farley will be played at Harnham in salisbury. Ground in use for the Chairmans daughters wedding.
Friday 14th and Saturday 15th Sept - 14th Annual Beer festival on the ground.
As a Wiltshire Cricket Board focus club we will again be hosting county games during the 2012 season. Please turn up and support the county teams.
